Brenizer Method Pt. 2

6 Image Brenizer Method

This image is made up of 6 photographs stitched together in a grid. There is a small error on the left side which I believe is due to camera shake. Still, I’m pretty happy with how the little RX100 Mark IV is standing up to different challenges.

Most Beautiful Woman I Know - Brenizer Method

It’s always a pleasure working with the most beautiful woman I know. This shot is made up of three exposures stitched horizontally.

Brenizer Method

Aage Carlsen - Brenizer Method

So I have a new technique to explore. I have been hearing about people using panoramas to make portraits for quite a while but have not had any applications I wanted to try it on. This afternoon, I decided to see what I could make with a simple 3 shot pano. I mounted the 50mm f1.4 on my 5D MKII, asked my son (bribed) to give me a nice smile, and then snapped the 3 photos as quickly as possible. This is the result. I haven’t done the math on the new effective field of view, but it is clear that this method will allow me to make some images that would not have been possible with my existing equipment. Stay tuned. I am sure I will have more examples of the Brenizer Method shortly.
